AIGA-Atl Pin-up Show 2012

I put together a little video of the amazing Annual AIGA Graphic Design Pin Up show last Saturday for everyone to experience. 

This was a showcase of Graphic Design Students from all over the state with a chance to show off their best work and have it judged by: Nicole Riekki, of The Coca-Cola Company
Brad Copeland, of Iconologic, and Rick Anwyl, of Son & Sons

Tonight I have the wonderful opportunity of representing my school at an informal Graphic Design Pin up show. I will be representing my School along side my colleagues and classmates. Im certain we will dominate the room. The work from the schools in the Atlanta area will be judged by Nicole Riekki of The Coca-Cola Company, Brad Copeland of Iconologic, and  Rick Anwyl of Son & Sons. Technically this is the 2nd show that my work will be  

featured in, even though it is a free for all Pin up show.

I will be showing 3 of some of my favorite printed pieces, My Atlanta Dub2 Poster, Supreme Machine, and TWIF.

Lego Has Really Outdone Themselves.

Its refreshing to be out running errands and see a wonderful piece of design in the most normal of places.

Lego has really out done themselves recently with their several lines of lego products one of their more recent series... Lego Architecture©. An incredible feat of taking the simple idea of building, brick by brick. Lego Architecture© hits home in several ways with its lovely and simply put together packaging system that appeals to an older target market than other Lego© products.

In addition, what a wonderful way to inspire youth to chase their dream jobs and develop an interest that could effect their lives forever. Such as what happened to myself.

Early Graduation Present

After a long winter break of not actually taking a break, I have completed another one of my self initiated projects. My new portfolio webpage is up and running. This update contains the most work I have ever shown online.

Price Drop at the Editions

After the Black Friday sale I decided to drop my prices again for a more affordable buy. 
In the Tshirt/Clothing game pricing is very important. The reason I make clothing is 
to express myself through items that I would wear. So the price should match, If I wouldn't

Poker Chips - Package Design.

My final project in this years packaging design class was meant to be one of expensive cost and taste.
What better than a set of hand crafted poker chips held in custom wood molds.


The wooden canisters were cut from 3x3 pieces of maple, and then silk screened with metallic ink
The 10gram ceramic pokerchips were dyed to their specific colors and then stamped with Brilliance gold ink.
The leather straps were cut and pressed with button snaps, and then silk screened with metallic ink.

Top 40 Sandwich company. Identity project

Just completed a series of work for "Graphic design studio." An identity for a mock startup deli sandwich company based on the concept of using a ranking system for their menu items.

This package includes the stationery system, bags, wraps, containers, other cafe accessories, a menu webpage and iphone sandwich creator app.

OMFG... a showcase book for OMFG co.

In one of my current classes,  Business Practices of Graphic Design, we were challenged to pick a design studio/firm to research and analyze their methods to then translate what we learned about the company into capabilities brochure as a promotional item for the company. 

I chose OMFG co. (Official Manufacturing Company) located in portland oregon.

The book was designed with their work in mind, allowing you to stay interested in what makes this design company so great. The shipping package is made up of repurposed portland city news papers with a OMFG co. coined phrase screen printed on the front and then shrink wrapped for mailing purposes.

Some Chedda' for yo Cheddar

1st round of Packaging design at SCAD.
Develop a novelty item that would be sold on the display tables at urban outfitters.
So I came up with cheese "flavored" wallets for all that mad Cheddar.


Sewing wallets is definitely not as simple as I thought it would be.
