Recently had the pleasure of popping into the friendliest book binding studio in Clerkenwell while I was venturing in London. It was very refreshing to chat about setting type and printing in gold foil when now I am always focused on digital. The small team specializes in traditional bookbinding and repair. They make a point to practice traditional methods to preserve quality.

Looking forward to the next project I work on that allows me to interact with printers and binders, which I hope is sooner rather than later.

football and typography - to produce a stunning book entitled 'Football Type'

Serves as my inspiration to make my own set.

Its official, Saturdays are for friendly bouts in a game most of us aren't familar in. However, winning is winning.

Time to design ourselves some kits.

Bijan Berahimi and Chris Burnett invited several of us designer types to come downtown and fuck around with a risograph printer and thats exactly what we did. Now its all bundled up in a little collaborative zine that is available for sale or just a peek down at museumofcontemporarycraft.org
