Preparation.

School is getting much more difficult, however the fruits of my labor are becoming much more valuable.
I am beginning to prepare for my Nike internship, lots of searching and planning, finding a roommate will prove
to be interesting. Thanks to my mother for all of her searching efforts.

I have had 3 all nighters so far one of which was spent on these: a series of unique invitations.

Swoosh.

I am officially announcing my recent acceptance into Nike's Apparel graphics program, as a summer intern.
I am extremely excited to meet the team and learn and assist Nike in producing some of their clothing.

This week couldnt get better.

Sunday Morning.

First day of individual meetings with Massimo Vignelli, and they are going well.
Everyones Ideas for the high museum are wonderful. The most amazing part is the
amount of inspiration Massimo gives us just through talking with him.

He continuously told me how nice my hair was and asked so many questions about it.
haha.

The Vignelli Church

So today I began my workshop held by professor Barry Roseman, and taught by Massimo Vignelli. A living legend of a graphic designer who developed world known timeless identities.

We had a meeting with the design department of Atlanta's High Museum to have an initial brief concerning a rebranding project we will be working on.

Vignelli said, "they (as in the committees) have a disease, and us as the designers, we are the doctors.
They may say they do not like the medicine they are taking but we ultimately know whats best..."
"...We as designers must fight and stand up for what our profession stands for."
